If you find the idea of running, gym and any other stressful form of exercise to be difficult which makes you to back off from exercise then you are not alone. for many people the thought of exercising can be overwhelming. but what if i told you that getting fit doesn’t have to be hours at the gym or exhausting routines? Here are lazy person guide to stay active without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

 Engaged with micro workout

You don’t need to waist much of your time or exercises. try micro workouts short bursts of activity lasting 5-10 minutes. A few tips include:

  • Desk Stretches Tactics- this includes simple stretches at your desk to improve your flexibility.
  • Commercial Break and Push-Ups- do push ups or sit ups during TV commercials. it helps in stretching your body.

Walk while on phone call- walking around when you on call can also makes impacts on your body.

Walking- A 10-minute stroll around the block can do wonders for your health and mind.

The Couch Potato Workout

If the couch is your happy place, why not turn it into your fitness zone? Try these moves:

  • Seated Leg Lifts: Sit on the edge of the couch and extend your legs straight out, one at a time. Do 10-15 reps per leg while you binge your favourite show.
  • Cushion Squeezes: Grab a pillow, place it between your knees, and squeeze. Hold for a few seconds before releasing. It’s a sneaky way to tone your thighs.

Commercial Break Cardio

Watching TV can double as a workout session. Use those commercial breaks to move!
